Agile Open was a great success! We had our largest ever attendance and "too many takeaways for only $25". Check out the results here! We'd like to thank our Agile Open sponsors again for their support, Berteig Consulting, Architech and Guidewire.
We can officially announce that the call for sessions for Agile Tour Toronto 2013 is now open. Details can be found here but here's the overview. The deadline is July 30th. Sessions can be submitted by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the following information:
- Email Subject: Session Title
- Email Content: Abstract of the session
We did a bad job last year of advertising the fact that we need community help with our reviews. All session submitters are automatically enabled to provide reviews for other session proposals. We are also looking for volunteers to help with reviews. If you are interested contact us at email@example.com. In the interim here's some information on how we select sessions. We'll be beefing this up in the coming days.
We are thrilled to have Gojko Adžić deliver the keynote at this year's Agile Tour Toronto conference on October 29! Gojko is the author of several books including Specification by Example and the most recent Impact Mapping.
His book Specification by Example was awarded the #2 spot on the top 100 agile books for 2012 and won the Jolt Award for the best book of 2012. In 2011, he was voted by peers as the most influential agile testing professional, and his blog won the UK agile award for the best online publication in 2010.
So mark October 29th in your calendars, because you don't want to miss this event!
Thanks to everyone for helping make such a great conference. We wanted to share the feedback with everyone. Check out our survey results:

Want to help coach?
If you are an Agile Coach (Scrum, XP, Kanban, etc.) and want to volunteer your time to help people, please contact Michael Sahota who has agreed to help coordinate. Remember: this is to help folks, not to market services.
