As part of our annual conference last year, which was held on November 6th, the Toronto Agile Community organizing committee committed to donating proceeds from the event to a Toronto charity. We are happy to report that, following up on this commitment, we donated all net proceeds (over $20,000) to the Toronto Daily Bread Food Bank (https://www.dailybread.ca/) in mid-December. While we’ll never know the exact number, it’s reasonable to expect that a contribution of this size would have helped provide food to many families just before the Holidays.
We want to thank everyone who helped make our annual conference a success last year, including our keynotes (Scott Ambler, Molood Ceccarelli and Richard Kasperowski), session speakers, sponsors, organizers, volunteers and attendees. Without your commitment to our event, the knowledge-sharing and community-building that took place on November 6th wouldn’t have happened.
